United States Navy U.S. Fleet Forces Showband to perform holiday concert at The Centre, Dec. 18
WELDON, N.C. – The United States Navy U.S. Fleet Forces Showband Holiday Concert will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, at 7 p.m. at The Centre at Halifax Community College.

The event is free and open to the public, but guests must have a ticket to gain admission (limit four per household). Tickets are available, free of charge, by doing one of the following:

  • Visit The Centre’s Box Office on the campus of HCC between the hours of noon -6 p.m., Tuesday-Friday or call 252-538-4336 for information.
  • Visit The Daily Herald office at 916 Roanoke Avenue, Roanoke Rapids
  • Send a self-addressed, stamped envelope along with your name, address, phone number, e-mail address and number of tickets requested to The Centre @ Halifax Community College, P.O. Drawer 809, Weldon, N.C. 27890, Attn: The Box Office. The deadline to receive tickets by mail is Wednesday, Dec. 12.
The U.S. Fleet Forces Band is the musical representative for the Commander, U.S. Fleet Forces Command, and is the largest of the Navy’s 11 Fleet Bands. This unit provides musical support for ships, military bases, foreign dignitaries, and many community relations events. The band, under the direction of Lieutenant C.S. White, is fortunate to be staffed by some of the Navy’s finest and most talented musicians.
