Blackboard Tutorial Course

All new distance learning faculty must complete the New Faculty Onboarding course to teach online at HCC. Once Access Authorization paperwork is completed and accounts are set up, distance learning faculty will be enrolled in the New Faculty Onboarding course. This course covers the basics of navigation, content creation and teaching using Blackboard. Teaching expectations, processes and best practices for effective online instruction are also covered in this course.

You will need to login to Blackboard to view the course. If you do not have a Blackboard account or are unsure of your login credentials, please contact the Office of Distance Learning.
