HCC to offer Nurse Aide II Course
WELDON, N.C. – Halifax Community College’s (HCC) Continuing Education Department will offer a Nurse Aide II class Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from Nov. 1-March 28. Sheryl Watson, RN is scheduled to teach the course from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Weldon campus, Room B206.

The Nurse Aide II Training Program consists of 168 hours of classroom, laboratory and clinical components. With the successful completion of the program, students will be eligible to apply for listing on the North Carolina Board of Nursing Nurse Aide II Registry.

Registration is required and costs $259.50. Interested students should contact the Continuing Education Department (Building 400) for admission requirements and registration information. Students must have photo ID, Social Security Card and proof of high school completion or GED to register (names on documents must match).
