Tinklepaugh joins HCC English faculty full time
 
WELDON, N.C. – Eugene Tinklepaugh has joined the Halifax Community College (HCC) English department as a full-time faculty member. Prior to his current position, Tinklepaugh taught HCC English courses on a part-time basis.

Tinklepaugh has served as an adjunct instructor at Edgecombe Community College and North Carolina Wesleyan College as well as a copy editor with the Rocky Mount Telegram. Other experience has included various positions with the North Carolina Literary Review and the Washington Daily News. He won two North Carolina Press Association awards for feature writing while working with the Washington Daily News.

Tinklepaugh earned master of arts and bachelor of arts degrees from East Carolina University.
