HCC School of Business visits Weldon STEM High School

WELDON, N.C. – On March 29, the Halifax Community College (HCC) School of Business faculty visited business students at the Weldon STEM High School. Members of the HCC School of Business faculty included Chair of the School of Business Lateef Balogun, Program Head of Computer Information Technology Emmanuel Obi and Program Head of Advertising and Graphic Design Johnnie Rascoe, Jr.

The HCC faculty members held three sessions with groups of students ranging from 10-15 students each. Following a presentation about the different programs the school has to offer, faculty members took questions and also gave trivia questions for students to answer about career choices.

After the presentation, the students had an opportunity to ask questions about the departments and pick up flyers and other information concerning departmental choices.
