Halifax CC hosts Donna Washington, professional storyteller

Award-winning professional storyteller, author and educator Donna Washington presented several children’s stories to the HCC campus and community on April 11 at The Centre. Children from area schools including grades K-2 and grades 3-5 attended the event. Washington is known for her vocal pyrotechnics, elastic face and dynamic physicality that bring her stories to life. She has been a professional storyteller for 23 years. The event kicked off the Week of the Young Child and was sponsored by the HCC Early Childhood Club.
