Professional storyteller to visit HCC campus, April 11

Multiple award-winning professional storyteller, author and educator Donna Washington will make a presentation to the HCC campus and community starting at 9:30 a.m. for grades K-2 and 11 a.m. for grades 3-5 on April 11 at The Centre at Halifax Community College. The event is free and open to the public. Washington’s vocal pyrotechnics, elastic face and dynamic physicality make her stories come to life. The event kicks off the Week of the Young Child and is sponsored by the HCC Early Childhood Club.
