Faculty adjunct recruitment fair slated for April 2

Halifax Community College will host a faculty adjunct recruitment fair from 9 a.m.-noon, Saturday, Apr. 2 in the 400 Building, Room 411.

HCC utilizes part-time/adjunct faculty for day and evening classes. Positions are available in biology, chemistry, computer science, English, mathematics, medical laboratory, nursing, welding, dental hygiene, human services, early childhood, and criminal justice. Adjunct faculty teach college transfer, developmental and technical courses. Minimum credentials for transfer disciplines include a master’s degree plus 18 graduate credits in that discipline.

Participants should bring a completed HCC application, current vitae/resume, three recommendation letters and transcripts.
