HCC Delegation attends 2015 National Legislative Summit

WELDON, N.C. – Halifax Community College (HCC) trustees and administration attended the Association of Community College Trustees 2015 National Legislative Summit in Washington, D.C. on Feb. 9-12.

This annual trip gives officials the chance to lobby for community college issues. Each year, more than 1,000 trustees, presidents, students and other advocates converge to make the case for community colleges. Attendees had the opportunity to join with other community college leaders to advocate on education, workforce training and economic development policy issues in the 114th Congress.
