HCC hosts ECSU and UNC officials

WELDON, N.C. – Halifax Community College (HCC) hosted officials from Elizabeth City State University (ECSU) and the University of North Carolina (UNC) General Administration on campus, Jan. 28.

"We really appreciate HCC welcoming us today. Our chancellor wanted an opportunity to come visit the area and meet all of you...Thank you so much for being such a wonderful host," said ECSU Deputy Admissions Director LuAnn Riddick.

"We always want to bring our partners together," said HCC President Dr. Ervin V. Griffin Sr. "We’ve had a great partnership with ECSU. One of our best ones has been through the teacher prep program. Thirty-eight people have graduated from that program...Plus, we have a number of faculty members who are graduates of ECSU."
