HCC Medication Aide Administration students graduate
WELDON, N.C. – Halifax Community College's (HCC) Workforce & Economic Development Division graduated Medication Aide Administration students recently in Scotland Neck:

The 24-hour course was provided by Area L AHEC through grant funding and is geared to students who are currently listed as Nurse Aide I with the N.C. Nurse Aide Registry. It covers the basic preparation for the administration of medications by unlicensed persons in a variety of settings. The course is designed to prepare individuals to take the competency testing required for listing as a Medication Aide in the state of North Carolina.
