Students complete Pre EMT-Basic Course
WELDON, N.C. – The Halifax Community College (HCC) Workforce & Economic Development Division held a Pre Emergency Medical Technician- Basic (EMT-B) course recently. Thirteen students completed the course.

The class provides foundational information to students interested in a career in emergency medical services. The class is mandatory for entrance into the EMT-Basic class. Graduates included:

The next Pre EMT-B class is scheduled for Sept. 9-Oct. 2, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Those interested must pre-register in the Workforce & Economic Development Office in Building 400. The cost of the class is $70. Volunteers with a squad or department are exempt.
