HCC BLET to host Cadet Career Night
WELDON, N.C. – Halifax Community College's (HCC) Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) Academy will host Cadet Career Night on July 17 starting at 6 p.m. in Building 400, Room 401. Attendees will have an opportunity to speak with professionals already serving in this field and get more information about starting a new, exciting and rewarding career.

Minimum qualifications for the BLET Academy include:
  • Have a high school diploma or GED
  • Be 21 years old prior to entering the academy
  • Not have a felony
  • Be a U.S. citizen
  • Have a valid driver's license
The application process includes:
  • Application packet
  • Oral interview
  • TABE test
