New student orientation sessions for fall 2013 held at HCC
WELDON, N.C. – Halifax Community College (HCC) held new student orientation sessions on Aug. 12 at 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. in The Centre. The sessions gave students an opportunity to hear from college administration, faculty and staff, and to explore the campus.

Students heard from the following:
  • President Dr. Ervin V. Griffin Sr.
  • Dean of Student Services & Enrollment Management Dr. Barbara Bradley-Hasty
  • Vice President of Academic Affairs Dr. Deryl Davis Fulmer
  • Interim Vice President of Administration and Finance Debra Smith
  • Vice President of Institutional Advancement Dr. Dianne Rhoades
  • Dean of Curriculum Programs B.T. Brown
  • Security—Sgt. Bob Lufkin
  • Fire Safety/EMS Coordinator Dr. Kevin Kupietz
