New name, new vendor slated for HCC Cafe
WELDON, N.C. – Halifax Community College (HCC) has renamed the student cafeteria, which will now be called The Circle Café. Also, there is a new vendor, Joseph (Jody) Wheeler, on tap for the renovated facility. Wheeler is the current owner/operator of Joe's Cafe located inside of Lowe's Distribution Center in Garysburg, N.C., and former owner/operator of the Gaston Grill.

The Grand Opening of The Circle Café is projected to be the first day of classes, Aug. 15.

Breakfast will be served from 8-10:30 a.m. and lunch will be served until 3 p.m. Breakfast items will include breakfast sandwiches and biscuits, grits, baked apples, assorted cereals, muffins, juices and coffee. Lunch will include burgers, sandwiches, several side items, deluxe salads and combos.

Credit/debit cards will be accepted.
