PRIDE to host sixth annual Men to Men Summit at HCC
 
WELDON, N.C. – The PRIDE of Halifax Male Mentoring Program will host the sixth annual Men to Men Summit at The Centre at Halifax Community College (HCC) from 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 10. "Am I My Brother's Keeper?" is this year's theme. There is no charge to attend.

The summit is designed for young men and professionals. Concurrent sessions for students will address "College and Hip-Hop Culture…Cross the Intersections with Care," "How the Images You See in the Media Impact You and Your Sense of Self Worth" and "Reclaiming the Minority Male Image: A Discussion of Clips from 'A War For Your Soul' and 'Bringing Your 'A' Game'." For administrators and community organizations, the topic, "Establishing Multiple Pathways to Educational Success" will be addressed.

A talent competition and poetry contest will also be held during the summit.

Early registration will be held through March 30. Registration after the deadline will be on a space-available basis.
