HCC HOLDS FOOD TASTING
Halifax Community College held an
International Day & Food Tasting Feb. 14 as part of Black
History Month. Foods included Southern soul food snacks like
souse, chitlins and hoop cheese and Scottish fare such as
clapshot and parlies. Other foods included bak la va, BBQ,
Cajun seafood soup, chicken salad tartlets, meatballs,
jambalaya, corn pudding and more.
