Qualifying departments are Davie, Darlington, Enfield, Halifax, Hobgood, Littleton, Rheasville, Roanoke Rapids, Scotland Neck, Tillery and Weldon.
$500  Halifax Electric Membership Corporation Scholarship: students who reside in a household served by Halifax EMC and are enrolled in a minimum of six semester hours

$1,000  Homewood Scholarship: full-time or part-time (minimum six hours) students who have demonstrated community involvement and qualities of citizenship. Recipients are required to complete 20 hours per academic year of community service and be enrolled in public service technology curriculums (horticulture, criminal justice, human services, cosmetology or early childhood).
