HCC offering Developmental Math classes with multiple start dates
WELDON, N.C. – Beginning this fall, Halifax Community College (HCC) is offering developmental mathematics classes with multiple start dates. These classes will allow students who place into developmental math to get a jump start on their education even after the semester has begun.

The next session runs Sept. 13 through Oct. 9 and offers the following courses:
  • DMA 010-Operations with Integers: Monday-Friday, 9-9:50 a.m. and 1-1:50 p.m.
  • DMA 020- Fractions and Decimals: Monday-Friday, 9-9:50 a.m., 1-1:50 p.m., 2-2:50 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday, 6-8:20 p.m.
  • DMA 030-Proportions/Ratios/Rate/Percent: Monday-Friday, 9-9:50 a.m. and 2-2:50 p.m.
  • DMA 040-Expressions/Linear Equations/Inequalities: Monday-Friday, 11-11:50 a.m.
  • DMA 050-Graphs/Equations of Lines: Monday-Friday, 11-11:50 a.m., 1-1:50 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday, 6-8:20 p.m.
  • DMA 060-Polynomial/Quadratic Applications: Monday and Wednesday, 6-8:20 p.m.
  • DMA 070-Rational Expression/Equations: Monday-Friday, 12-12:50 p.m.
