Associate in General Education

The Associate in General Education (AGE) degree is a curriculum program designed for the academic enrichment of students who wish to broaden their education, with emphasis on personal interest, growth and development.

Course work includes study in the areas of humanities and fine arts, social and behavioral sciences, natural sciences and mathematics, English composition, oral communications and basic computer skills.  Opportunities for the achievement of competence in reading, writing, oral communication, fundamental mathematical skills and the basic use of computers is also provided.

Within the Associate in General Education degree program are tracks for several allied health programs. In addition to admission the college, the allied health programs have additional admission requirements and prerequisites. While awaiting admission to a particular allied health program, students are encouraged to follow the appropriate tracking sheet that enables them to meet the admission requirements for the allied health program.
