At Halifax Community College, we understand that finding the perfect venue is key to hosting a successful event. Whether you’re planning a corporate function, birthday party, or community gathering, our versatile spaces provide the ideal backdrop for any occasion.
Featuring a 1500-seat multi-purpose theater, The Griffin Centre serves The Roanoke Valley as a venue for cultural programming, economic development, and community activities. 1,000 of the Centre’s seats retract into a spacious multi-purpose area. The Centre also contains a beautiful gallery area for meetings, small programs, exhibits, and intimate banquets for no more than 120 guests.
Home to our Automotive, Welding, Industrial Systems, Small Business Center, and Customized Training programs, the Advanced Manufacturing and Corporate Training Center features two rooms that can be rented for meetings, trainings, and other similar events.
Free, open to the public, and open year-round from daylight to 9pm. The FIT Trail contains a 21- station exercise system with detailed instructional signs and exercise structures. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
Serving as the home of HCC’s Continuing Education courses, the 400 building also features an expanded multi-purpose room that contains a small stage. This room can be used for meetings, workshops, and small banquets for no more than 150 guests.
