The Purpose of the Small Business Center is to increase the success rate and the number of viable small businesses by providing high quality, readily available assistance to prospective and existing small business owners. The overall objectives are to foster and support entrepreneurship and economic development and help equip people in both urban and rural communities to succeed in a technologically driven world.
The Small Business Center Network has been in existence for forty years assisting the business, local government and non-profit sectors in accomplishing their goals. Our major focus is small businesses and start-ups.
Halifax Community College SBC service area includes BUSINESSES intending to locate, or who are currently located (physically), in Halifax County and Northampton County up to the Jackson, NC City Limits.

Businesses MUST be physically located (or will intend to locate) with a mailing address in the Halifax Community Small Business Center service area. There are 58 service areas based at Community Colleges across North Carolina so all businesses may be serviced through their local SBC.
