Halifax Community College (HCC) scholarships are available to assist students who have demonstrated a commitment to academic excellence and completion of a program at HCC. Halifax Community College uses a system that automatically matches applicants to scholarship opportunities they are qualified to receive. Therefore, only one application per student needs to be submitted for all of the scholarships available.
Applicants should fill out the application completely and write a letter/statement about “Why I need a Scholarship” Students should put thought and effort into the letter/statement as this is a significant piece of the scoring for scholarships.
IMPORTANT The scholarship deadline for the 2024-2025 academic year is May 31, 2024 by 5:00 p.m. NOTE: Early College and CCP students are ineligible and unable to be considered.
