The FIT Trail is situated along the serene and picturesque walking areas of Halifax Community College Campus. It is a 21-station exercise system with detailed instructional signs and exercise structures. The system is designed to promote total fitness by combining three essential elements of exercise, namely stretching/flexibility, muscle toning, and cardiovascular conditioning, into a balanced routine. Each station contains recommended exercises you can perform at your own pace. The routine also includes warm-up, conditioning, and cool-down exercises. Heart-rate guides are available to help you measure your exertion levels and pace your workout effectively.
