New Student

If you have never taken a class before at HCC you are considered a New Student and if you have taken classes at HCC you are considered a Returning Student. Returning students are students who decide to enroll after being absent for two consecutive semesters or more. If you desire to take a class or two to transfer back to another college or university, please select Special Student (T90990) as your major. If you have a question, please contact the Admissions Office at 252-536-7220 or 252-536-7225.

All applicants must complete this process, you will receive a 10 digit RCN number that is needed as a part of the application process.

All applications are submitted online through CFNC

Applicants who desire to receive grants and scholarships to assist with paying for your classes.

All applicants must provide a copy of their signed social security card, official high school. If you are a transfer student please provide official transcripts from colleges listed on your application.

Make an appointment with your advisor or stop by campus to see an alternate advisor to get registered for your program courses.
