HCC Names New VP of Administrative Services
WELDON, N.C. – Halifax Community College (HCC) is proud to announce the new Vice President of Administrative Services, Thomas Henry.

Henry has served as the Associate Vice President of Administrative Services and Controller at HCC for the last three years. In this role, he has been instrumental in maintaining the financial security of HCC, as well as reviewing the financials and expenditures of the HCC Foundation.

Prior to coming to HCC, Henry worked for other public and private entities, focusing on finance and taxation. Henry earned his Master of Business Administration from Strayer University, and Bachelor of Science in Finance from Norfolk State University.

"Mr. Henry brings a balanced experience from the private sector, the proprietary sector, and the public sector," said Dr. Michael A. Elam, president of HCC, "We feel that he has done an excellent job as the interim, and we know that he will continue to provide excellent service for the College as our new Vice President of Administrative Services."

Henry assumed his new role officially on March 1.
