| Halifax Community College Foundation Inc. to Host Annual Golf Tournament |

WELDON, N.C. – On October 13, the Halifax Community College Foundation Inc. will host its sixth annual “Hitting the Links for HCC” golf tournament.
Hosted at Chockoyotte Country Club in Weldon, the golf tournament proceeds will be used for scholarships for deserving HCC students. Each year, many from the community come out for a day of fun and golf, all for a worthy cause.
This year, the HCC Foundation is excited to announce the prizes and possibilities available for all participants. The first place team receives a “Stay-and-Play” golf trip to Beau Rivage Golf Resort in Wilmington, NC. The package includes a one night stay and two rounds of golf for the four winners. Second place receives golf for four at Echo Farms Country Club in Wilmington, NC and River Landing Resort in Wallace, NC. Finally, third place receives golf for four at Valley Pine Country Club in Lasker, NC.
In addition to the great prizes, there is also an opportunity for all golfers to compete for a new 2017 Toyota Corolla, donated by Bones Toyota of Roanoke Rapids. The car is this year’s Hole-in-One prize. Finally, each participant receives a voucher for one free club of their choice, just for coming out to the tournament.
