HCC holds pinning ceremony for Class of 2016 Dental Hygiene, Nursing and Medical Laboratory Technology students
WELDON, N.C. – Halifax Community College (HCC) held the School of Health Sciences Pinning Ceremony for the class of 2016 on May 11. Mid Atlantic Eye Physician, Dr. Brian Crichlow, was the keynote speaker.

Dr. Crichlow’s message focused on the calling that each person has. He stated, “Each of you have been called to give service to others. As a nurse and dental hygienist you are the first person to see a patient. You are the one that they feel comfortable with. As medical laboratory technicians, your information helps doctors to make the diagnosis that they give on a daily basis.” Crichlow also told the students that they were truly unsung heroes.
