HCC conducts Pinning Ceremony for EMT graduates
WELDON, N.C. – Halifax Community College (HCC) recently conducted a pinning ceremony for the five students graduating from the 2016 Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program. The students completed vigorous course work including more than 200 hours of classroom and skills training, as well as, 24 hours of active clinical time on working ambulances. The students will take their state certification exam for NC Office of Emergency Medical Services later in March and be able to work in the emergency medical field following their state certification.
