High School Equivalency Test available at HCC
WELDON, N.C. – The HiSet (High School Equivalency Test) is now available at Halifax Community College! The HiSet is available to students in the form of computer-based testing or paper-based testing. Students will have an option to take the HiSet via computer-based or paper-based testing at a cost of $50.

Starting on February 8, 2016, the computer-based test will be available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays at various hours. Starting on February 26, the paper-based test will be available on Fridays at various hours.

For more information about preparing for the High School Equivalency and/or signing up for the HiSet, students should contact Therman E. Taylor III, Chief Examiner (252 536-6362), Dr Tamba O. Thompson, Director of Literacy Education (252 536-7235), or Tracie Buffaloe, Literacy Instructor (252 538-4313). In addition, individuals are also encouraged to visit the HiSet web page at: hiset.ets.org.
