Requesting Your Transcript From HCC

GED/HiSET/HSE Transcript Requests

There are two different types of HCC Student Transcripts:

  • Official copy - These are sent by mail (not fax) directly to another college, employer, prospective employer, etc.
  • Student copy - These may be sent by mail (not fax) to you for your records. They are printed on plain, white paper.

Your signature is required, so HCC is unable to accept requests for transcripts by phone or email. We can no longer accept faxed requests since the transcript fee must accompany the request.

Transcript Fee

Official Curriculum Transcript …………… $4.00

Student Copy-Unofficial, on plain paper …………… $2.00

Workforce and Economic Development transcript …………… No Charge

These amounts must be paid to the cashier and a receipt presented to the Registrar's Office before a transcript request will be processed. If mailing a request, you must submit the transcript fee along with your request. Your request will not be processed until the fee has been received

When requesting a transcript, please include:

  • Your Name
  • Your Social Security number
  • Your phone number
  • Indicate if the transcript is from Curriculum or Workforce and Economic Development
  • Full address of where the transcript should be sent
  • Your signature and date (NOTE: If this letter is not signed and dated, it cannot be processed!)
  • Transcript Fee
