Partners / Representatives

Local community support is a key component to the long-term sustainability and success of our Nurse-Family Partnership program here in northeastern North Carolina.

We have a Community Advisory Board which consists of community partners and community representatives from within our five county region. Community Partners

  • Increase community awareness and enhance engagement
  • Advocate to sustain and expand NFP services
  • Strengthen referral networks to ensure first time moms have access to our program
  • Assist with connecting our moms to available community resources

Community Representatives

  • Actively seek and engage community partners
  • Identify funders and advocates to pursue opportunities of program financial support
  • Identify resources to help meet the needs of our program and the families we serve
  • Advocate within the community among elected officials, policymakers and other political leader at the local, state and national levels
