Gainful Employment

You are here: Home » Students » Gainful Employment

Federal regulations published in October 2010 required institutions to report certain information about students who enrolled in Title IV eligible educational programs that lead to gainful employment in a recognized field. While all of our programs at Halifax Community College are designed to lead to either employment or college transfer, the Department of Education requires that we provide disclosure information on the specific programs listed below.

You may select a program from the list to review its student information. Specific information available includes, estimated cost of program, links to occupational programs (O*Net online), length of program, and program information. Prospective students interested in GE programs may use this information to assist with researching programs. For programs with less than 10 graduates, financial information is not provided.
