| HCC to Host Agri-Business Alliance Forum |
|
|
WELDON, N.C. – On June 14, the Halifax Community College (HCC) Small Business Center (SBC) will host an Agri-Business Alliance Forum on June 14th, from 1-3 p.m. in Room 411.
All interested in becoming a part of the fast growing Agri-Business Industry are invited to attend. The forum will allow participants to learn more about the agri-business industry, as well as learn about new possibilities that are coming available for training and learning in the fall of 2017.
In partnership with NC REAL Agricultural Entrepreneurship and NC Cooperative Extension, the SBC will be offering a seven-week Agribusiness Certificate course during the Fall 2017 semester at HCC. The HCC Agribusiness Certificate program will meet each Tuesday of the week beginning September 26, through November 14, 2017. Agriculture and business professionals will share a variety of strategies for the start-up and expansion of small and specialty farming ventures.
