WELDON, N.C. – Halifax Community College (HCC) is hosting the Ninja Challenge 5K Fun Run this Saturday, April 29. The event will be held on the HCC campus, on the Roanoke Valley Fitness Interactive Trail (RV FIT).
With registration opening at 8 a.m., participants can get prepared for the 5K run through the campus of HCC. The run will conclude with an obstacle course, just to add some excitement. For those who do not wish to be competitive, or would rather walk or jog through the 5K, will start after the official start. The obstacle course will be available throughout the day.
In addition to the Ninja Challenge 5K, HCC is partnering with the Roanoke Valley Community Health Initiative for the Family Fest. The family-oriented event, featuring wellness education and fun outdoor activities, will begin at 10 a.m.
