Applying for HCC Foundation Inc. Scholarships

Halifax Community College (HCC) scholarships are available to assist students who have demonstrated a commitment to academic excellence and completion of a program at HCC. Halifax Community College uses a system that automatically matches applicants to scholarship opportunities they are  qualified to receive. Therefore, only one application per student needs to be submitted for all of the scholarships available.

Applicants should fill out the application completely and write a letter/statement about "Why I need a Scholarship" Students should put thought and effort into the letter/statement as the letter/statement is a significant piece of the scoring for scholarships.

We are taking applications for Spring 2022-2023 scholarships. The deadline to apply for scholarships is June 1, 2022 no later that 5:00 p.m.. NOTE: Early College and CCP students are not eligible for the current scholarship
