Northwest Halifax High School features HCC name on building
LITTLETON, N.C. – Officials from Northwest Halifax High School have joined in an educational facility partnership with Halifax Community College (HCC). Now, the College’s name will be featured on the administrative building at the school. A ceremony honoring the partnerships was held at the school on Jan. 18. HCC was one of 10 schools to participate.

The project will assist Northwest Halifax High School officials in changing the perception of the school. Also, it will help students believe they can attend any college or university of their choice.

Educational Facility Partnerships included:
• Building 400: Winston-Salem State University
• Building 500: University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
• Building 600: Elizabeth City State University
