HCC to hold Carpentry, Electrical Wiring Courses
 
WELDON, N.C. – Halifax Community College (HCC) Continuing Education will hold carpentry and residential electrical wiring classes starting in January 2012.

Carpentry will be taught Jan. 30-May 7 on Mondays from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Lake Gaston Community Center in Henrico. Registration costs $121.50. The course provides instruction of core skills used by carpenters in residential and commercial settings.

The residential electrical wiring class will be taught Jan. 31-May 8 on Tuesdays from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Lake Gaston Community Center in Henrico. Registration costs $121.50. The course includes practical application and hands-on experience in implementing code requirements.

Pre-register by going to www.halifaxcc.edu and clicking on "Continuing Education," then clicking on "Registration." Print off the registration form, complete it and mail it to the address given or come by the Continuing Education Office in Building 400.
