Continuing Ed classes slated for September |
|
|
WELDON, N.C. - Halifax Community College’s Continuing Education Department will offer carpentry, plumbing and welding classes in September.
The carpentry class will run from 5:30-8:30 p.m., Sept. 6-Oct. 27, Tuesdays and Thursdays on the HCC campus. Cost is $120. The class will provide instruction of core skills used by carpenters in residential and commercial settings.
The plumbing class will be offered from 5:30-8:30 p.m., Sept. 12-Dec. 12, Mondays at the Lake Gaston Community Center. Cost is $120. This class provides knowledge of all aspects of plumbing as well as hands-on practice with plumbing tools and materials.
The welding class will run from 5:30-9:30 p.m., Sept. 7-Dec. 7, Wednesdays on the HCC campus. Cost is $120. This class provides instruction in SMAW (stick) and GMAW (mig). Students will need a welding helmet, leather gloves, clear safety glasses, leather boots and work attire.

click on “Continuing Education” then click on
“Registration” and print off a registration form.
Complete the form and mail to the address given or
come by the Continuing Education Office in Building
