The QEP (Quality Enhancement Plan) is a five-year plan that addresses barriers to student learning. Halifax Community Collegeï¿½s QEP plan focuses on self-regulated learning and problem solving skills.
Improving Student Learning is the core objective of the QEP.

In support of Halifax Community Collegeï¿½s (HCCï¿½s) mission of meeting the needs of our community by providing high-quality, accessible and affordable education and services for a rapidly changing and globally competitive marketplace, our QEP title reflects a general consensus that improved self-regulation and problem-solving skills will enhance learning and prepare students to anticipate and respond to the needs of an evolving global community in providing continuous quality improvement and services with strategic learning outcomes.
