HCC hosts 2015 Legislative Affairs Luncheon
 
WELDON, N.C. – Halifax Community College (HCC) hosted the 2015 Legislative Affairs Luncheon on May 1 at The Centre. Community college presidents, students, faculty and trustees addressed Senator Angela Bryant, Representative Michael Wray, Representative Shelly Willingham, Representative Bobbie Richardson and Representative Bob Steinburg.

The event was co-hosted with Edgecombe Community College, Nash Community College, Roanoke-Chowan Community College and Wilson Community College. Areas of emphasis included addressing the instructor salary crisis, funding year-round instruction and providing the infrastructure for workforce impact.
