The Halifax Community College (HCC) Garden was presented a certificate of appreciation from Monarch Watch on March 12. HCC Greenhouse & Grounds Maintenance Instructor Peggy Lynn was on hand to receive the certificate. The HCC Garden was established as a Monarch Waystation and provides milkweeds, nectar sources and shelter needed to sustain monarch butterflies as they migrate through North America.
