International Day & Food Tasting slated for Feb. 26 at HCC
 
WELDON, N.C. – The eighth annual International Day & Food Tasting will be held on Thursday, Feb. 26 at 11 a.m. in The Centre at Halifax Community College (HCC). Foods from around the world and various cultures will be featured. International attire will also be worn. The event will include presentations by HCC students and the food tasting. Admission is $2 per plate for the food tasting portion of the program.

Featured foods will include banana pudding, zucchini bread, soul food, empanadas, chicken salad, barbeque, navy beans, chicken afritada, pork adobo, jerk and curry chicken, a variety of pizzas, chicken tagine and buttery couscous, collards, hushpuppies, Danish kringles, sweet potato jacks, baked ziti and much more.
