WELDON, N.C. – The 2014 Practical Nursing (PN) Pinning Ceremony was held in The Centre at Halifax Community College (HCC), July 17. College staff, family and guests gathered for the ceremony honoring the accomplishments of the class that included 13 members.

Thomas Smith, EMT-P, ODC with Carolina Donor Services was the keynote speaker.

Smith encouraged graduates to never lose their enthusiasm and to never stop learning. He also noted that graduates should learn from those with whom they work.
