Second Annual Alumni and Friends Presidential Breakfast held at HCC
 
WELDON, N.C. – To better reach alumni and friends, the Halifax Community College (HCC) Alumni Association hosted the second annual Alumni & Friends Presidential Breakfast on May 17 at The Centre. Attendees heard from HCC President Dr. Ervin V. Griffin Sr. and received an update on the College.

Chester Williams, an HCC alumnus, talked about his experience at the College. "At HCC, doors opened for me, the possibilities were endless," he said. "As I left HCC, I was proud to say that I was an alumnus… To see the growth on campus, I’m even more proud."

The event was a fundraiser for the HCC Foundation Inc. and its operations, and was sponsored by Halifax County Missionary Union, PNC Bank, WEZU 95.9FM "Local Public Radio," Senator Angela Bryant, H.D. Pope Funeral Homes Inc., and A Catered Affair.
