HCC hosts NC BioNetwork STEM Bus
WELDON, N.C. – Halifax Community College (HCC) hosted the North Carolina Community College BioNetwork Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Bus on April 24.

The STEM bus is a 40-foot mobile learning lab designed to engage and inspire people to discover life science careers. A touchscreen TV, iPads, a solar panel readout and other highly technical items highlight career areas. A combination of hands-on, technical demonstrations and displays allow visitors to learn about specific careers by completing individual job tasks through short experiments or mini labs.
