PRIDE to host seventh annual Men to Men Summit at HCC
 
WELDON, N.C. – The PReparing men for Intellectual, acaDemic & Educational success (PRIDE) of Halifax Male Mentoring Program will host the seventh annual Men to Men Summit at The Centre at Halifax Community College (HCC) from 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Thursday, April 3. "Preparing Men for Intellectual, Academic and Educational Success" is this year's theme. The keynote speaker will be FTB Advisors, Inc. Senior Vice President and Mid-Atlantic Regional Director L. Duane Davis. There is no charge to attend.

The summit is designed for young men and professionals. Concurrent sessions for students will address "The Fourth Grade Minority Male Syndrome," "Who's In Charge? Are Others Controlling You and Leading You Down the Path of Self Destruction?" and "Reclaiming the Minority Male Image: A Discussion of Clips from 'A War For Your Soul' and ‘Bringing Your 'A' Game'."

A talent competition and poetry contest will also be held during the summit.
