Time Management/Goal Setting workshop hosted by PRIDE

WELDON, N.C. – Halifax Community College's (HCC) PRIDE male mentoring program held its "Time Management/Goal Setting" workshop on Feb. 26. Students learned how to effectively manage their time using a planner and learned how to set measurable goals. PRIDE is a college success, leadership and professional development program designed to enhance student satisfaction, professionalism, retention, graduation and four-year college transfer rates.

HCC's Quality Enhancement Plan Director/Research Associate Marcus Lewis led the workshop and commented that its purpose was "to help students become more self-regulated."
