"1001 Black Inventions" to be presented at HCC

WELDON, N.C. – Halifax Community College (HCC) will present "1001 Black Inventions" at 11 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 6 at The Centre.

"1001 Inventions" is a play that features the lives of brilliant men and women. The audience is then transported into the Twilight Zone with a typical American family attempting to survive in a world without inventions created by Africans and African Americans. Audiences laugh themselves into the realization that Black ingenuity is an integral part of their everyday lives.
