HCC to host Constitution Day 2013
WELDON, N.C. – Halifax Community College (HCC) will host a Constitution Day program at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 17, in The Centre at HCC. The event is free and open to the public.

The event will feature a panel discussion on due process and examine these questions:
  • What are your constitutional rights?
  • What does the Bill of Rights mean to you?
  • What is due process?
Federal law requires that any agency receiving federal funds must acknowledge Constitution Day, Sept. 17. The acknowledgement can take place anytime during that week.
